Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a fast-paced GI medical practice in Massachusetts. You will support patients and providers, room patients, take vital signs, and help with procedures, ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, coordinating flow, and assisting with front office tasks to maintain smooth operations throughout the day. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, compassionate, and collaborative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months of related work experience required.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred; National MA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms; prepares patients for examination and treatment.
• Obtains pertinent history and documents in the medical record including chief complaint, history, allergies, medications, and vitals.
• Processes and files lab/diagnostic results and notes after physician review.
• Coordinates patient flow in the office and collaborates with reception to ensure timely visits.
• Assists front office by answering calls, scheduling appointments, and performing other tasks.
