All Star Healthcare Solutions is recruiting a gastroenterology locum to support a practice in Tyler, Texas. The role will involve coordinating schedule-based colonoscopies Mon-Fri, performing the procedures, and handling IP consults from the prior night.

The locum will also assist in the GI lab for related services as required. The position offers paid travel and housing, malpractice coverage, credentialing/licensing assistance, and full-service locum staffing.

Additional Information

Current practice is set up for 3-4 GI physicians and 3 midlevel providers. We have 2 NPs and 1 PA-C working inside the GI clinic now. They will do pre and post workups on patients needing scopes. The addition of a locums will create a schedule for the Locums provider for colonoscopies on a Mon-Fri schedule. This provider will perform the scheduled colonoscopies and then visit IP consults from the night before. If those patients need any further services in the GI lab, this locum's provider will do them in the GI suite to follow the scheduled procedures.
