Job summary

Mercy Jefferson is seeking a GI Lab RN to provide specialized nursing care in a dynamic endoscopy environment. You will work 36 hours per week during daytime shifts in Festus, MO, with a rotating weekend/holiday on-call schedule and a requirement to reside within 30 miles of Mercy Jefferson.

You will apply the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and departments, and uphold Mercy Service Standards while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Certifications: BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and care teams.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
