Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the GI Lab. The role involves applying the nursing process to deliver safe patient care, coordinate with departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and maintain Mercy Service Standards.

Caregivers receive incentives including sign-on bonuses up to $10k for experienced RNs, bridging programs to advance BSN/MSN, and RN loan forgiveness options. Shift includes days with call coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (BSN, ADN, or diploma program).
• Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure required.
• BLS certification (or within 30 days); ACLS as required.
• Physical requirements: push/pull/lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing/walking; bend/kneel/twist/squat.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
