The CN-C requires a BSN and 2+ years of acute care or procedural nursing with sedation, with potential for growth to CN-D per the department ladder. On-call shifts and occasional float to other GI locations are expected.

Qualifications

• BSN required for RN licensure.
• ADN or Diploma acceptable for CN-C hire before Sep 1, 2020.
• Minimum 2 years' acute care or procedural area experience with sedation.
• CN-C eligible for promotion to CN-D per ladder handbook.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, coordinate, document age-appropriate patient care in GI Lab.
• Perform procedures with sedation and specialized instrumentation.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Participate in on-call rotation; may float to other GI lab locations.
