A leading medical institution in Texas seeks a fellowship-trained GI/HPB Surgeon to join its esteemed Surgical Oncology team. Candidates will be responsible for treating complex malignancies and contributing to education and research efforts. GI/HPB Surgeon
The Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center is currently recruiting for a fellowship trained Surgical Oncologist. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience with candidates likely at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Applicant must be American Board Certified in General Surgery, and be eligible for a Texas Medical License.
Successful candidates will be committed to patient care, resident, and medical student education and scholarly activity that advance clinical medicine. Candidates will be an integral member of the surgical oncology team. The position will entail clinical responsibilities at both Parkland Memorial Health and Hospital System and Clements University Hospital. Specifically, the position entails the treatment of patients with upper gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary malignancies.
