Carle Health seeks a board-eligible or board-certified gastroenterology hospitalist to provide inpatient consultations and procedures at three Peoria-area hospital campuses. The role includes 24-hour coverage shifts, patient rounds, GI triage, EUS and ERCP procedures, and participation in colorectal tumor boards.

The position requires GI board eligibility/certification and a medical license, with hospital-based practice and EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology.
• Medical license required.
• Experience in inpatient gastroenterology settings is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct inpatient gastroenterology consultations at three hospital campuses.
• Perform inpatient GI procedures, including EUS and ERCP.
• Triage GI calls and rounds for patients across all campuses.
• Provide scheduled 24-hour coverage, including holidays.
• Participate in biweekly colorectal tumor boards.
• Coordinate daytime care with advanced practitioner support.

Job Summary
