Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required and active on the IL Health Care Worker Registry.
• Certification in GI scope processing required within three years of employment.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general clerical duties assigned by the Department Manager or Charge Nurse.
• Assist the Physician and RN in preparation and performance of DHC procedures.
• Document and preserve tissues and specimens safely and accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotation for unit specific 24/7 coverage.
