Job summary

Vanderbilt Health's GI Endoscopy Lab is seeking a GI Technician for the 3rd shift to support daily endoscopy scheduling and instrument handling in a busy academic health system.

You will assist proceduralists before, during and after endoscopy procedures, prepare instruments, ensure proper disinfection and sterilization, and help maintain a safe, organized perioperative environment across clinics and units.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Healthcare experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient care by assisting the proceduralist before, during and after endoscopy procedures.
• Plans, prepares and cleans up endoscopy procedures and equipment.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and proper instrument handling.
• Cleans, disinfects and sterilizes endoscopy instruments for perioperative areas.
