Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Endoscopy GI Lab in Washington. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and coordinate perioperative care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a WA RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days, with prior GI lab or Endoscopy experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Endoscopy RN experience or GI Lab exposure is preferred.
• WA RN license required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) required; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to department and hospital policies, safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
• Administers and documents medications as ordered and per policy.
• Performs assessments and plans care based on initial and ongoing evaluations.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and effective communication with patient populations.
• Documents care using the nursing process and reports changes to physicians.
