Job summary

Gateway Endoscopy Center in Missouri is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to join our outpatient GI team. You’ll collaborate with gastroenterologists to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Professional School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
• Current certification BCLS and ACLS.
• Good command of English, written and verbal.
• Willingness to overtime when needed.
• Ability to work well with physicians, staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the patient’s physical/psychological status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate patient care.
• Identify goals for patients and communicate with care team.
• Implement nursing care plan using professional judgment.
• Maintain infection control and environmental safety practices.
• Document information accurately and timely.
• Communicate professionally with patients, peers, staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patients.
