Job summary
AdventHealth in Winter Haven seeks an advanced practice clinician to provide comprehensive patient assessments, orders, and coordinated care in a full-time day-shift role. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and implement individualized plans.
Required are APN/PA licensure, BLS, and a minimum of 1 year of related experience. You will contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient education across age groups.
Qualifications
- Advanced practice nursing role; requires APRN license.
- Physician Assistant scope with licensure and board certification.
- Strong communication and leadership required.
- Ability to multi-task and organize care delivery.
- Experience with age-appropriate patient education and care plans.
Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive health assessments and histories.
- Initiates orders for meds, labs, and tests per policy.
- Identify health status changes and implement interventions.
- Diagnose and manage acute/chronic conditions across systems.
- Develops and evaluates individualized care plans.
