Job Summary

$10,000 Sign on Bonus
Schedule:
Part-Time 30hrs; Day Shift, Monday-Friday; 8 and 10 hour days with variable start times starting at 6:30am-9am

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Surgical Technician Certification required- ARC/STSA – Accredited Surgical Technology Program - NBSTSA – Certification is conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
  • Current experience in OR or Ambulatory Surgery setting is required
  • Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
  • Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipment
  • Knowledge of septic and aseptic technique and be conscious of both at all times
  • Knowledge of care and safe handling of endoscopes
  • Demonstrate awareness of/sensitivity to patient/family rights and cultural/religious beliefs and age-specific needs
