Job summary

AdventHealth in Riverview, FL is seeking an experienced APRN to join our GI team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions, perform inpatient and outpatient visits, and contribute to quality improvement.

Responsibilities include histories and exams, ordering and interpreting labs and imaging, coordinating care with physicians and staff, educating patients and families, and documenting in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current Florida APRN license or eligibility for licensure.
  • National board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP).
  • Current BLS certification.
