Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our ambulatory GI team. You will evaluate and treat a range of GI disorders in an outpatient setting and participate in leadership and clinical education opportunities.

Applicants must hold Wisconsin NP or PA licensure with prescriptive authority and board certification where applicable. This 100% FTE role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing for NP track or Bachelor's/Master's in PA program for PA track.
• Wisconsin NP or PA licensure is required and prescriptive authority.
• Active board certification as NP or PA depending on track.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment for GI disorders in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments for new and follow-up patients.
• Manage feeding tubes and perform gastrostomy tube changes.
• Collaborate with specialty practice and participate in education and professional development.
