Job summary

Gastro Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our private practice team in Alexandria, Virginia. This APP will deliver high-quality GI care under physician supervision and coordinate individualized treatment plans.

The position supports outpatient consults and follow-ups with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, averaging 14–18 patient encounters daily, in a team of four gastroenterologists.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Virginia
• National certification as NP or PA with prescriptive authority
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (required)
• Minimum of 1 year APP experience
• GI experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a team of 4 gastroenterologists and support staff
• Outpatient consults and follow-ups
• Monday through Friday schedule: 8AM to 5PM
• Average 14-18 patient encounters per day
