Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Gastroenterology to join a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule. The role involves inpatient rounding, consults, and GI care coordination to support a busy GI service.

The APN/PA will perform evaluations, follow-ups, and management of GI disorders, order labs and imaging, and develop evidence-based care plans, collaborating with gastroenterologists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless patient care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in inpatient rounding, consults, and care coordination across the continuum
• Perform evaluations, follow-ups, and management of GI disorders
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and GI-specific diagnostics to develop evidence-based care plans
• Provide clear education and support to patients and families to improve outcomes and adherence
• Work closely with gastroenterologists, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
