Ghee Production Team Member (Tues, Wed, & Thurs 5PM-5AM)

Summary of Role

The Conversion and Labeling Facility Production Team Member is responsible for all aspects of the conversion of products on our Ghee, Deli Cheese, and Cheese shreds production lines. This position also involves sanitation of the production areas and machines on a rotating basis. This is a safety-sensitive role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Follow all SOPs to ensure proper product conversion.
2. Operate all equipment with attention to detail.
3. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Regulations.
4. Set up all equipment on any production line.
5. Maintain quality standards to deliver exceptional products to customers.
6. Pack products in boxes and palletize.
7. Work safely and comply with safety requirements.
8. Document all necessary information accurately.
9. Clean and sanitize production equipment and areas as needed.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with general plant cleaning as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of good manufacturing practices.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to safely handle sanitation chemicals.

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 120 pounds with assistance occasionally.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $18.00 - $21.31 per hour. The typical starting wage for new hires is $18.00/hour, excluding fringe benefits. A $1.00/hour shift premium applies between 6pm and 6am. Final wages depend on factors such as location, skills, education, and experience. We value pay equity and consider internal equity for final offers. Hiring at the maximum wage is uncommon.
