Qualifications

$32.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Position Details

Title: RN Med/Surg
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Geneva, NY 14456
Schedule: 3 12-hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM), EOW/Holiday rotations, and 2 OC shifts per 4 weeks.

Job Description:
RNs working 3x12 night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), with rotations every other week and holidays. The role requires floating between locations and units, including ICU, ER, Med-Surg, and MST. Candidates must be cross-trained and comfortable working in different units or specializations such as Critical Care, Med-Surg, and Tele. No on-call required for 48-hour contracts.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registered nurse license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through RQI system), NIHSS (AHA or RQI), Basic Coronary Care (within 6 months), CPI (within 90 days)
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and Emergency Nurses Association certification within 2 years
• Experience with floating to Med-Surg, ICU, ER required (minimum 2 years)
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records
