Job summary

The Office of Naval Intelligence is seeking GG-13 Intelligence Specialists to perform high-level analysis and support naval operations. Candidates must be US citizens and able to obtain a Top Secret clearance. This is a full-time position located in Suitland, MD.

The Office of Naval Intelligence's (ONI) Nimitz Operational Intelligence Center (OIC) has an open continuous vacancy announcement for multiple GG-13 Intelligence Specialists. The link to the vacancy announcement is: https://www.oni.navy.mil/Careers/Current-Openings/.

The individuals filling these positions will serve as full performance intelligence specialists in Nimitz's Naval Warfare Department (NWD), performing tasks related to analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products to meet Naval Fleet requirements. Please see the announcement for specifics on responsibilities, conditions of employment, and qualification requirements.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Successful completion of a polygraph examination may be required. These jobs are open to all US citizens.

ONI and its Centers are located in Suitland, MD, near Washington, DC. Nimitz OIC provides operational and strategic analysis related to the maritime domain, supporting fleet commanders and national policymakers with timely, relevant analysis. NWD offers detailed analysis of naval warfare threats posed by foreign weapons systems and countries of interest, supporting four main divisions: SABER (surface warfare), SPEAR (air warfare), SWORD (undersea warfare), and SPECTRUM (cyber/electronic warfare/C4ISR).
