What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, revise, and administer Aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) and FAA Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AAIP)
- Create and maintain aircraft Configuration Control Documents (CCD) and Master Inspection Lists (MIL)
- Monitor FAA Airworthiness Directives and communicate complex technical data to field technicians
- Perform aircraft acceptance inspections and ensure conformity to regulatory requirements
- Support the Records Department by reviewing aircraft return-to-service documentation and compliance records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience with a 14 CFR Part 135 air carrier or Part 145 certified repair station
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical data related to aircraft maintenance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based maintenance management programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Maintenance or Technology, or a related field
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License with Inspection Authorization
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in quality assurance or technical support roles
- Extensive experience with Beechcraft King Air and Pilatus PC-12 series turboprop aircraft
- Experience developing FAA Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AAIP) and Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL)
