What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, revise, and administer Aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) and FAA Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AAIP)
- Create and maintain aircraft Configuration Control Documents (CCD) and Master Inspection Lists (MIL)
- Monitor FAA Airworthiness Directives and manufacturer service bulletins, guiding field technicians on corrective actions
- Perform aircraft acceptance inspections and ensure conformity to regulatory requirements
- Support the Records Department in reviewing documentation and assist field technicians with technical data interpretation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a 14 CFR Part 135 air carrier or Part 145 certified repair station in a quality assurance or technical support role
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical data related to aircraft maintenance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs and web-based maintenance management systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, maintenance, technology, or a related field
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License with Inspection Authorization
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance or technical support role
- Extensive experience with Beechcraft King Air and Pilatus PC-12 series turboprop aircraft
- Experience with FAA Aircraft Safety Inspectors and processing aircraft document packages for conformity inspections
