The Global Financial Crimes Threat Identification & Liaison Manager is a subject matter expert on financial crime and is responsible for executing enterprise financial crime threat identification practices consistent with applicable laws, rules, regulations and regulatory guidance.
Key responsibilities include researching and assessing emerging financial crime threats and typologies impacting high-risk customer types, including MSBs, third party payment processors, and correspondent banks, providing advisory support to Front Line Unit (FLU) and Control Function (CF) compliance and operational risk officers, supporting information sharing across stakeholders, and maintaining working-level external partnerships that strengthen threat intelligence and public‑private collaboration. Job expectations include exercising sound independent judgment within established frameworks, conducting proactive threat identification activities, escalating significant threats and issues to appropriate governance routines, and ensuring threats and trends are clearly documented and communicated to senior leaders and impacted stakeholders.
