Job Description: The Global Financial Crimes Threat Identification & Liaison Executive is a recognized expert on financial crime National Priority areas (corruption, cybercrime and misuse of virtual currencies, terrorist financing, fraud, transnational organized crime and third-party money laundering, drug trafficking organizations, human trafficking/human smuggling, and proliferation financing) and is responsible for the direction and development of enterprise-wide financial crime risk management practices consistent with applicable laws, rules, regulations and regulatory guidance.
Key responsibilities include identifying and assessing emerging financial crime threats and typologies, providing strategic advisory support to Front Line Unit and Control Function leaders and Compliance and Operational Risk Officers, facilitating information sharing across stakeholders, and maintaining external partnerships to strengthen threat intelligence and public-private collaboration.
Job expectations include exercising significant independent judgment and decision-making in evaluating complex and evolving risks, directing proactive threat identification efforts, influencing enterprise risk management strategies, and ensuring significant threats and trends are effectively communicated, understood, and addressed across the organization.
10+ years of experience in Global Financial Crimes, Compliance, Operational Risk, or related risk management disciplines
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial crime risks through threat detection, monitoring, and investigative practices
Demonstrated knowledge of financial crime typologies, emerging threats, and regulatory expectations related to anti-money laundering, fraud, economic sanctions, and illicit finance risks
Experience developing and leveraging relationships with law enforcement, regulatory, and industry partners to support information sharing and public-private collaboration
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders, government agencies, law enforcement partners, and external stakeholders
Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and insights, and communicate recommendations
Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment in a dynamic risk environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, and experience leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies to support risk management objectives

Pay range $175,000.00 - $350,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
