The Malvern School in Medford is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Get Set classroom. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday and focuses on implementing a robust early childhood program in a supportive setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be at least 18, and bring child-care experience or CDA/college credits. You will contribute to a safe, engaging learning environment and regular parent communication.

• 2500 hours (about 1 year 4 months) in licensed child care, or 1250 hours with 15 college credits or CDA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

What we need from you:

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
