Qualifications

• Experience counseling for and managing gestational diabetes within an MFM department and/or an Endocrine practice.
• Strong knowledge of diabetes self-management practices and patient education techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diabetes education and counseling to pregnant patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
• Guide patients through diabetes self-management techniques.
• Offer ongoing support and counseling to patients.
• Accurately document patient progress in the electronic medical record system.
• Conduct follow-ups to monitor patients’ progress.
