Job summary

Qualifications

• Req Degree in Mental Health or related field.
• Req 3 years Current experience as a Licensed Mental Health Professional working with adult, geriatric and orthopedic patients.
• Pref Recent Psychiatric experience.
• Demonstrates ability to effectively work with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and evaluation skills.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to function independently and as a member of a team.
• Committed to excellence in patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and/or place mentally disordered persons on 5150 Holds for 72-hour emergency intervention.
• Coordinate assessment information with the Medical Director, Program Director and/or Clinical Director/Charge Nurse and appropriate Community Agencies prior to disposition or transport.
