Job summary

The RN will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, reconcile records, evaluate responses, and participate in ongoing professional nursing practice to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
• 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations is preferred.
• License: Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the assigned unit to ensure direct and proper care.
• Analyze patient information to develop individualized care plans.
• Prepare nursing processes including medication administration and treatments.
• Reconcile medical records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate patient response to interventions and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for effective care planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
