Alignerr is seeking a professional German voice actor to help train AI systems by recording German voice audio and evaluating AI-generated speech. You will provide actionable feedback to improve naturalness, pronunciation, and expressive delivery, using your own high-quality recording setup.

This fully remote, freelance contract offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to collaborate with leading AI researchers.

Qualifications

Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional.
Native or near-native fluency in German with strong command of natural spoken delivery.
Owner of a large diaphragm microphone and access to a quiet, acoustically controlled recording space.
Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently.
Sharp ear for nuance – you notice subtle differences in tone, rhythm, and pronunciation.
No prior AI or tech experience required.

Responsibilities

Record professional-grade German voice audio using a large diaphragm microphone, following provided scripts and prompts.
Evaluate AI-generated speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional expression.
Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve synthesized German voice outputs.
Review scripts and suggest adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery.
Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule.
