Job summary

Language Matters is seeking a German-speaking HR & Payroll Coordinator to coordinate HR administration across the employee lifecycle and support payroll processes in a fast-paced international environment.

You will manage onboarding, contracts, promotions, and leavers, maintain accurate records, ensure GDPR compliance, and work with Workday and Excel. English and German fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration and payroll processes.
• Data accuracy and GDPR compliance in HR records.
• Fluency in English and German required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with HR systems and ticketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HR administration across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, promotions, leavers).
• Prepare HR documents (contracts, offer letters, communications).
• Maintain employee records in HR systems ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Support monthly payroll administration with providers and Finance.
• Assist HR queries, inductions, and salary/performance review processes.
