Job summary

Jaguar-Land-Rover-Clear-Lake is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of vehicles, with emphasis on German luxury brands and high-end imports.

You will use diagnostic tools, adhere to manufacturer guidelines, document work thoroughly, and communicate estimates to customers. Training and mentorship of junior technicians are available. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; vocational automotive training preferred.
• ASE certification preferred for advanced diagnostics.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and OEM software.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks per manufacturer specs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
• Communicate estimates for labor and parts to customers.
• Maintain records of work performed.
• Mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations.
• Examine vehicles for safety and maintenance items.
• Keep up with manufacturer training.
