Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in German and excellent command of grammar, syntax, and stylistics.
• Professional experience in literary editing, copywriting, criticism, or NLP-related linguistic annotation in German.
• Strong written communication skills and experience working with remote, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality and accuracy of LLM-generated German text across translations, summaries, dialogue, and grammar tasks.
• Edit, refine, or rewrite German content to meet linguistic, cultural, and literary standards.
• Annotate German texts for grammatical, syntactic, semantic, and stylistic features.
• Identify model errors and linguistic shortcomings; collaborate with AI researchers to improve LLM performance in German.
• Provide detailed literary and linguistic feedback to guide model training and evaluation efforts.
