Qualifications

• Fließendes Deutsch auf hohem Niveau; Muttersprache oder fast muttersprachlich.
• Berufserfahrung im Voice Acting, im Narrativ, in Hörbüchern oder vergleichbaren Audiorollen.
• Zugang zu professionellem Aufnahme-Equipment und ruhigem Recording-Space.
• Fähigkeit, konsistent fesselnde, ausdrucksvolle Performances zu liefern.
• Genaues Gehör für Aussprache, Tonhöhe, Tempo und klare Artikulation.

Responsibilities

German - Generalist Voice Actor (AI Training)

About The Role

We're looking for professional German voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping train the next generation of AI models to sound natural, expressive, and authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a commanding German voice, professional recording setup, and a passion for quality delivery.

This role supports AI speech development and does not involve any voice cloning activities.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, high-fidelity German audio using provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, accuracy, expressiveness, and overall quality
• Provide thoughtful, constructive feedback to improve synthesized voice performance
• Review and refine scripts as needed to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Full fluency in spoken German — native or near-native
• Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio roles
• Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording space
• Able to deliver consistently engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances
• Sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and overall vocal clarity
• Naturally detail-oriented when evaluating audio quality

Nice to Have

• Experience in broadcast, podcast production, e-learning narration, or commercial voice-over
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
• Awareness of regional German dialects and their nuances
• Background in linguistics, communications, or performing arts
