Job summary

mascmedical is seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician for a full-time outpatient geriatrics-focused role in Daphne, AL. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with no weekends or hospital rounds.

The position emphasizes preventive and longitudinal care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary model, offering a competitive base salary plus production-based bonus, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• Active AL license.
• Current DEA registration.
• At least 3 years of experience in outpatient primary care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to a team-based, patient-first care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, and health screenings with a focus on early intervention.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans for a predominantly geriatric population.
• Collaborate closely with nurse practitioners, care coordinators, and support staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) to document clinical encounters and track patient outcomes.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture focused on continuous care enhancement.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
