Job summary

Apploi in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate daily care under the supervision of licensed nurses in long-term care settings. You'll assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, help residents with mobility, meals, grooming, and transport as needed, while following care plans and communicating with the care team to ensure safety and comfort.

New grads welcome; California CNA certification and BCLS are required; rotating shifts and ongoing training are

Qualifications

• New grads welcome.
• Current California CNA certification.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Proficient English reading and verbal communication.
• Basic math for weights, measurements and dosing as needed.
• Willing to rotate shifts and work on different units.
• Attend 12 hours of continuing education annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Assist with ADLs, hygiene and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and weights per policy.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and positioning.
• Support nutrition and hydration per care plan.
• Record intake/output; use EMR where applicable.
• Notify nurse of changes in patient condition.
