Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health and the Department of Medicine/Geriatrics at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, seek a faculty physician to serve as Associate Director of the Geriatric Consult Service. You will oversee both administrative and clinical programs and co-manage geriatric initiatives in inpatient and outpatient settings.
You will lead development of geriatric consult services and collaborate with Surgical and Emergency medicine teams, supported by a Social Worker and
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with a fellowship or CAQ in Geriatric Medicine.
- Ability to obtain New Jersey licensure, DEA and CDS licenses.
- Excellent clinical and teaching skills.
- Experience in cognitive assessment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative and clinical programs within the Department of Medicine.
- Develop and expand inpatient and outpatient geriatric consultation services.
- Co-management program for high-risk surgical patients.
- Support geriatric initiatives across Emergency Medicine and Surgery.
