Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an experienced Geriatric Medicine Hospitalist to join our inpatient service. You will provide compassionate care to our geriatric population within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

You will lead education for our residency program and mentor residents and medical students, while contributing to inpatient safety and quality initiatives. A NJ medical license and board eligibility/certification in geriatrics are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited U.S. residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine.
• Active New Jersey medical license; NJ DEA and CDS licenses.
• Passion for inpatient geriatric care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient geriatric care within a multidisciplinary team.

Hackensack Meridian Health has an immediate opening for a Geriatric Medicine Hospitalist to join our dynamic Inpatient Service team. We are seeking a dedicated physician with a passion for clinical excellence to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our geriatric population. In this pivotal role, you will work within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Beyond direct patient care, our hospitalists are instrumental in driving inpatient safety and quality initiatives while serving as core educators and mentors to our residents and medical students.

Requirements Include:

• Completion of an accredited U.S. residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• Active Medical License in the State of New Jersey.
