Job summary

Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking geriatric physicians to join our Bellevue Medical Center team. This hybrid outpatient role includes telehealth visits and in-person care with a strong emphasis on evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates will have geriatric fellowship training and be able to obtain WA medical licensure and a DEA, with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary support structure and a focus on team-based care in a large integrated system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO medical degree required.
• Board-certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine required.
• Ability to obtain WA state license and unrestricted DEA.
• Hybrid outpatient role with telehealth component and no on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient geriatric care with telehealth visits from Bellevue Medical Center.
• Collaborate with integrated care team including PCPs, RNs, social work, and case management.
• Coordinate with social services and other specialties for comprehensive care.
• Participate in value-based incentives and patient-centered, team-based care.

Position Overview:

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking part-time or full-time (0.5 - 1.0 FTE) Geriatric fellowship trained physician(s) to join our clinic family at the Bellevue Medical Center in Bellevue, Washington. This position will include a hybrid of face-to-face work in clinic and virtual e-consult visits. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an integrated care delivery system that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and collaboration amongst multi-disciplinary care teams.

Our Geriatricians are a part of an integrated, collaborative care team with multiple layers of clinical support:

• Primary Care Physicians (PCP): Close collaboration & coordinated care across the patient's care team
• RN & MA Support: Dedicated clinical support to help manage patient needs & care coordination
• Social Work: Support addressing social, behavioral & community needs for each patient
• Case Management: Assistance with complex care coordination & transitions of care
• Specialty Collaboration: Easy access to colleagues & collaboration across specialty departments
• Integrated Services: Connected access to pharmacy, behavioral health, imaging, laboratory & other care resources
• Team-Based Care: Practice as part of an integrated medical group, with high collaboration & shared responsibilities for patient outcomes

You're never practicing in isolation - you will be surrounded by a team of clinicians & support services working together to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for our Geriatric patients.

Ideal candidates will have experience with telehealth and digital health-or the flexibility to incorporate virtual care into their practice.

• This position is 100% outpatient with no call required.
• This position is non-paneled.
• You will have an excellent balance of patients per day and work with a centralized Telehealth Medical Center team to support your patients 24/7.
• Inbox support team will manage up to 70% of your in-basket messages.
• AI Scribing & Summarization support to cut down charting time by half.
• In our integrated health care model our clinicians have instant access to dozens of specialties, which allows for a level of collaboration and comprehensive treatment your patients deserve.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $295,302 to $347,414 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience.)
