Job summary

Peace Village is seeking an RN Wellness Nurse to promote health and well-being of residents through comprehensive nursing care and education. You will assess residents, create individualized care plans, administer prescribed treatments, and document health status in the medical records.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate residents and families on disease prevention, participate in wellness programs, and mentor junior staff to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

BSN from an accredited institution.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in wellness or geriatric setting.
Experience in developing and implementing wellness programs for seniors or similar populations.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following safety protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
Educate residents and families about health management and prevention.
Monitor and document health status, reporting changes to healthcare professionals.
Participate in wellness programs and ongoing professional development.
