Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN or LVN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions in English.
• At least 1 year of experience in either an acute medical/nursing center or a long-term care center.
• Knowledge of infection control and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Provides wound care (bandages, cleaning, dressing changes) and assesses bandage integrity.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintains infection control and aseptic technique.
• Records vital signs, notes changes, and updates care plans.
• Coordinates restorative treatments with facility staff and other departments.
• Documents care details in the EMR and ensures chart accuracy.
