Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse who delivers age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care and coordinates across settings to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing with a BSN strongly preferred, and has 1+ year of RN experience. Current Georgia RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required; Grady offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.
1+ years’ experience as a Registered Nurse required.
Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
Current AHA BLS health care provider card required.
ACLS Certification required for all areas.
New Graduates may apply to Grady's Nurse Residency program.

Responsibilities

Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive nursing care.
Maintain a safe environment and educate patients and families on healthy practices.
Coordinate care across settings and among caregivers to assure continuity.
Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Demonstrate advocacy, leadership, problem solving, delegation, and teamwork.
