Job summary

Elderwood is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities offer flexible scheduling, manageable caseloads, and clinical autonomy in a modern skilled-nursing and short-term rehabilitation setting.

Salary ranges from $35.00 to $50.00 per hour, with opportunities to work with a diverse resident population and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to maximize functional outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• M.A. or M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program.
• State license to practice as an SLP.
• ASHA Clinical Certification (CCC) preferred.
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• CPR/BLS credential current.
• Demonstrated collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

• English language proficiency at least intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers.
• Participate in care and discharge planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Support positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.
