Job summary

The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a talented Speech Language Pathologist to join their care team on site. The SLP will assess referred patients, develop treatment plans, set goals, document progress, and educate patients and families under physician direction.

Collaboration with other disciplines to deliver patient-centered care is essential; a FL license and geriatric care experience are preferred. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of FL
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not required.
• Well versed with documentation writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals determined by patient capacity and tolerance.
• Document and record patient condition and educate patients and families in appropriate therapy methods.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
