Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care or geriatric populations preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to write clear notes and reports.
• Ability to supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients to determine rehab needs and capabilities.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals set to patient capacity.
• Document patient condition, progress, and discharge plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapy methods and expectations.
• Supervise and guide Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Coordinate with the Rehabilitation team and physicians.
