Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse from an accredited school with an active NC license.
• Current CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training.
• Experience in geriatric nursing, dependable, flexible, and collaborative.
• Strong decision‑making skills with awareness of patient safety and quality care.
• Excellent communication, patience, and tact in working with patients, families, and the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient care aligns with physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies.
• Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as prescribed.
• Supervise and guide nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians during rounds, physical exams, and treatments.
• Perform and document treatments, maintain infection control, and adhere to safety standards.
• Support research on nursing care quality and assist with patient records, assessments, and scheduling physicals.
