Job summary

Miami Jewish Health in Miami, FL seeks a Program Manager Recreation Activities to ensure a full range of recreational activities for tenants, coordinating delivery to maintain physical, cognitive, and psychosocial well-being.

You will plan, schedule, supervise events on campus and off-site, lead staff including coordinators and instructors, produce newsletters, manage billing, and collaborate with other departments to create engaging programs that support residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of related experience.
• CTRS or ADC certification preferred; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and supervises all activities and events on campus.
• Plans, schedules, and arranges supervision for off campus activities and events.
• Supervises staff and contracted instructors; provides training and coaching.
• Writes newsletters for ICT/HCT; manages billing and invoicing.
• Coordinates participation of other departments in recreational activities.
• Conducts activity orientation interviews within 30 days of admission.
