Job summary

You will assist in evaluation, implement treatment plans, educate patients, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to promote mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed or certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with geriatric patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and treatment of geriatric patients.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision of a PT.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and home programs.
• Document patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
