Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for full-time employment in our skilled nursing facility. The role supports the physical therapy team in improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing resident wellness.

Candidate should hold TN PTA licensure, be able to evaluate and treat independently, and preferably have SNF experience. A sign-on bonus is offered to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Geriatric care passion and commitment.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently (no direct supervision).
• Active licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant in TN.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
• Design and implement functional activities to enhance residents’ experience.
