Job summary

Majestic Care of West Allen is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our SNF team. You will evaluate residents, plan and implement individualized PT treatments to improve mobility, balance, and independence, while collaborating with nursing, OT, and speech therapy to ensure coordinated care.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy with current state licensure and a focus on geriatric rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents, plan and implement individualized PT treatments based on clinical findings and goals.
• Provide direct PT interventions such as therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and manual therapy.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and safety strategies.
• Collaborate with nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care.
• Oversee and support physical therapy assistants in accordance with state acts and guidelines.
