Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a licensed psychotherapist to deliver clinical assessments, diagnoses and individual psychotherapy for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings around Chattanooga, TN. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, with no nights or weekends and a blend of onsite patient care with remote documentation.

Requirements include an active Tennessee license (LPC/LMFT/LMHC), 1 year of psychotherapy experience, and ability to bill independently.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee license as LPC, LMFT or LMHC (LCSW not considered).
• At least 1 year of experience as a psychotherapist.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.
• Eligible for independent practice and billing.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses and individual psychotherapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Deliver care in post-acute and long-term care environments (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF).
• Travel/coverage area includes Chattanooga and surrounding TN towns.
